Social interaction among all Nanish Shontie residents and visitors will be woven into the lifestyle. We welcome anyone who comes in a respectful manner to learn the Native ways of life.

The community will be designed to encourage informal discussion and interaction. Everyone will be working together to accomplish the tasks necessary to operate the camp and will get to know each other in the course of daily activities.

The community is interracial and inter-tribal. There are some rules that everyone will need to follow. Racism of any form will not be tolerated. Recreational drugs and alcohol will not be permitted. Violence will not be tolerated and firearms will need to be locked up in a designated place.
