the meaning of the phrase

	Nanish Shontie is a Western Shoshone tribal word that means: "to ask the Creator for a Blessing." We feel that this is a strong name for this project, as we are asking the Creator for a blessing for all things that are part of the Mother Earth and for guidance to build the community and healing center that are the center of our vision. Corbin Harney, the Western Shoshone Spiritual Leader, gave this name to us.
